Its best to check the soil by sticking your finger into it and try keep the soil moist but not soggy. If you're using tap water it is best to leave it to stand for a couple of hours before using, as calatheas - like a lot of houseplants prefer \u003cspan\u003efiltered, rain water or dechlorinated water.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eHumidity:\u003c\/b\u003e Calatheas LOVE humidity. \u003cspan\u003eYou can increase humidity levels by using a humidifier, or by placing their pot over a tray filled with pebbles and water.
