Alocasia zebrina thrive in bright rooms, but be cautious as they really can't handle direct sunlight. Its a great option for a bright bathroom as they love a higher level of humidity.

Light: Alocasia like a bright room, but it’s not a good idea to put it right next to a window as direct sun is a bit too much.

Water: It's best to keep the soil slightly moist. Water when the top few cm of soil become dry and crumbly. Stick your finger in to check. 

Humidity: Moisture in the air helps keep the leaves healthy. It LOVES humidity - mist daily or every few days. Bring it into the bathroom when you’re having a shower to soak up the humidity. 

Height and growth rate: They have a dormant period in the autumn and winter so don't worry if growth slows or some leaves drop, its nothing to worry about. 

Feed: Feed with a diluted liquid fertiliser (on the weaker side) every month in spring and summer. 

Care tips: Wipe the leaves every month or so, so they can absorb the light. 

Toxicity: Toxic if ingested.
