This is an unusual succulent that is incredibly easy to care for and makes quite a striking architectural statement. Rotate it often if you notice it slanting towards the sun. The shape of these plants will differ slightly.
Light: They prefer bright light. Direct sunlight is ok, but keep an eye on it to make sure it's not getting scorched.
Water: You can allow the soil to dry out before watering it. We tend to water ours a tiny bit or not at all from November to March.
Height and growth rate: They are very slow growing but can reach a height of 1-2 metres.
Feed: Feed it a very weak, half dose strength of liquid fertiliser in the summer.
Toxicity: A striking statement plant, but this one really needs to be kept completely out of reach of children and pets as the milky sap inside is toxic, and a skin irritant.
Origin: South and West Africa.
