If you don't have the space for a fiddle leaf fig but love how they look, give this beaut a go. Scroll down to see what pots fit it perfectly.
Light: Bright, indirect light is preferable, but they can tolerate some light shade and some direct (but not harsh midday) morning or afternoon sun.
Water: Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil moist at all times.
Humidity: No specific requirements really, but they wouldn't mind the odd misting.
Feed: Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser once or twice a month during the growing season.
Care tips: If you're not watering enough, or are watering way too much you might see some brown spots and a leaf or two drop. Change your ways and your plant will quickly recover.
Height and growth rate: Ultimate height 1 -1.5metres.
Toxicity: Toxic if ingested. The sap can be an irritant so wash your hands if any comes into contact with your skin.
Origin: Western Africa.
