We recently had the pleasure of working with one of our favourite Irish Businesses, The Handmade Soap Company.

They opened a new shop on Dublin's Wicklow Street, and wanted the space to reflect their passion for all things botanical. We initially planned to create a jungle feeling with lots of large, lush plants dotted throughout the shop, with tiers of smaller plants around them - but when we worked through the floor plan we realised plants needed to be in harmony with the product displays, and while we wanted a big injection of green, there had to be plenty of space for the custom display furniture made by Notions Creative.

So we decided to go vertical!

We installed a living wall planted up with hardy, easy care plants that provides a beautiful backdrop for their products. We used a variety of easy going plants so that maintenance would be as minimal as possible, among our favourites are philodendron scandens, a trailing plant that is incredibly indestructible, maranta fascinator, a red veined easy going plant that moves throughout the day, and satin pothos, a really easy going and very shade tolerant plant.
