Aglaonema, also known as Chinese evergreens, are a great no fuss option for houseplants. They are truly one of our favourite plants here at HB.

They have beautifully patterned foliage are tolerant of shade and drought too - making them an ideal easy care plant for a home or office. This variety has lovely pink foliage. The more colourful the foliage, the more light it will need to keep the vibrancy. For example, dark green Chinese evergreens are excellent in low light, but more colourful ones need some brightness. 

Light: Will thrive in bright light levels. 

Water: Likes to dry out a bit between waterings. Let the top two inches dry out bone dry like sand, before watering it.

Height and growth rate: About 50cm ultimate height, this plant is slow growing and compact. A perfect plant for your desk!

Feed: This is not a fussy plant, but they do like a houseplant feed once per month in spring and summer.

Toxicity:  Mildly toxic if eaten.
