This snake plant (sanserveria laurentii) is perfect if you want greenery that is super easy going. 

Light: Happiest in bright, indirect light - but snake plants can adapt to low light conditions as well. 

Water: Let the soil dry out completely before you water it. Then water thoroughly until water is draining out freely. Don't let it sit in water as this will lead to root rot. Treat it like you would a cactus, letting it dry out totally. If you ever repot it, use a sandy free draining soil such as a cactus / succulent mix.

Feed: Apply a weak dose of cactus feed once a month at the very most during spring and summer. Sansevieria are really low maintenance, easy plants and do not require a lot of feeding.

Toxicity:  Mildly toxic if eaten.
