The Zamioculcas zamiifolia plant, (or more easily pronounced - ZZ!) is one of the hardest plants to kill. And when they do endure damage, they are capable of regeneration. These plants like to be pot bound and because they have huge roots, the nursery pot can often look a bit distorted. We're currently doting over the small ZZ plant in a Donna pot, our new favourite desk topper.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light, but it can also grow in low light conditions.

Water: Likes the soil to dry out about ½ way down between waterings. Don't let the soil dry out completely, but also be cautious not to over water. Moderation is key.

Height: Grows to about 1 metre tall.

Feed: Weak dose of a liquid fertiliser once a month during spring and summer.

Toxicity: Toxic if consumed.

Origin: Tanzania.

*Our plants and pots are sold separately. Your plant will arrive in its plastic nursery pot, unless you have also ordered a decorative pot.
